Meet the Chef

Hi! I'm Chef Gianni, and I am the owner and founder of Elegant Home Cooking LLC. I started this business because I have a passion for good food, family, and community. I want to bring that passion to the dinner table for all who I have the pleasure of serving!

I have been cooking since I was a young child, before I could even see over the kitchen counter. My mom had me up in her arms learning how to make the family sauce recipe, and my dad had me up on a stool learning how to roll fresh tarali the same way his mom taught him when he was a child. Having learned from my mom and dad, and from my Grandma Rose, I gained an invaluable lifelong lesson in Italian home cooking and the power of food to bring families and communities together. Grandma Rose's passion for cooking and her love of family and community lives on in me and inspires me to be the best chef I can be in honor of her loving heart.

Over the years I have picked up countless fantastic recipes, and created many more of my own. I've largely self-taught, and I've continued gaining useful new skills and experience by practicing in commercial kitchens and home kitchens alike. I invest a lot of time into listening to nutrition experts on the latest in nutritional science so that I can best serve the complex dietary needs of my clients. I have experience in cooking for all sorts of diets including Gluten-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescetarian, Paleo, Mediterranean, Diabetic, Ketogenic, and even the Carnivore diet.

I take the time to get to know your personal needs and preferences. I'll go over your specific goals with you and put together a meal plan that helps you accomplish those goals.
